Synopsis

The second issue of Volume 12 of the journal Ambiente, Gestão e Desenvolvimento, from the State University of Roraima, brings a series of articles that discuss current issues that have as their starting point the insertion of the local context in the scenario of linguistic and literary studies. This issue features 14 specially selected articles that address issues in the area of ​​education, literature, music and regional culture in general, identity construction and multiculturality, also focusing on the relationships arising from Venezuelan immigration, the need to adapt to the common language to refugees and their impact on teaching, learning and their methods, all with the aim of ensuring the fulfillment of the mission assumed by this periodical.

A special mention is made to the beautiful photo on the cover of this issue, authored by Cláudio Souza Jr, which brings a very poetic look at the sunset of the farm in Roraima and reaffirms our commitment to valuing what is produced locally, whether in artistic or scientific terms. With this issue, we have expanded scientific dissemination about the regional reality, and we have made articles available with the certainty that we are fulfilling our role.
