Submission Preparation Checklist

Pursuant to RESOLUTION Nº. 10, OF FEBRUARY 26, 2024, all submissions must meet the following requirements:

  • The process is entirely electronic, being initiated, monitored and completed exclusively in the system hosted on the institutional website;
  • The proponent must be aware that our editors will actively use advanced technological tools to detect plagiarism, reporting any finding in this regard to the Editorial Board, which must adopt the appropriate legal measures;
  • The proponent must be aware that they will transfer to UERR and UERR Edições, free of charge, the right to publish and distribute the work;
  • If you don't already have a persistent author ID, create one through the ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) registration link. Submissions whose authors do not have identification will not be evaluated;
  • The contribution must be original and unpublished, and cannot be evaluated for publication by another publisher; otherwise, it must be justified in "Comments to the editor";
  • In addition to the manuscript, the Conflict of Interests Declaration available on the website, duly completed and signed, must be attached.
    The submission file must be in Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx), OpenOffice (.odt) or Rich Text Format (.rtf) format;
  • The text file cannot be identified with the name(s) of the author(s). The names and respective authorship credits must only be set in the specific field on the submission registration form;
  • The instructions available in Ensuring a Blind Peer Review should be observed;
    URLs (links) to references must be provided, when possible;
    In the case of a work that deals with research with human beings, the prior opinion of a Research Ethics Committee (CEP) must be attached to the submission;

Privacy Statement

The names and e-mail addresses entered on the UERR Edições website will be used exclusively for the stated purposes and will not be made available for any other purpose or to third parties. Data collected from registered and unregistered users falls within the scope of the standard operation of peer review. The editorial team collects such information only to the extent necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor's interaction with the publisher, and this includes information that enables communication for the editorial process to inform readers of authorship. and editing content and collecting aggregated data about reader behavior.

Such collected data may be shared with the Public Knowledge Project on an anonymous and aggregated basis, with appropriate exceptions such as book metrics. Data will not be sold by this publisher or by PKP nor will it be used for purposes other than those stated herein. The authors published here are responsible for the data of human beings that may appear in their research. Those involved in the issue seek to comply with industry standards for data privacy, which means always seeking to comply with the provisions of the General Law for the Protection of Personal Data (LGPD) in Brazil, including also the provision of the General Regulation for the Protection of European Union Data (GDPR) for "data subject rights", which may include: (a) breach notification; (b) right of access; (c) the right to be forgotten; (d) data portability; and (e) privacy from design. The GDPR also allows for the recognition of the “public interest in data availability”, which has a particular emphasis on those involved in maintaining, with the greatest possible integrity, the public record of scientific publication.
