Synopsis

The book presented here is an integral part of a broader project and the result of Scientific Education actions invested in the Education of the Municipality of Alto Alegre, in Roraima, with the purpose of providing scientific initiation for teachers and students and aims to bring together some projects presented at Science Fairs promoted at the school, in this municipality, in the State of Roraima and other Brazilian states.

Author Biographies

Marilene Kreutz de Oliveira, Secretary of State for Education and Sports - SEED/RR

Degree in Pedagogy from the Federal University of Roraima (2000). Graduate in Youth and Adult Education at the Federal University of Roraima (2006). Master's in Science Teaching from the State University of Roraima (2016). PhD student at the State University of Londrina. He is part of the research groups at UFRR (Paulo Freire and Adult Education), UERR (NUPECEM), Study and Research Group on Investigative Trends in Grounded Theory focused on Teaching (UFAM) and Research Group on Teaching and Epistemology of Sciences (GPEEC) of the State University of Londrina. She is currently a teacher at the State School Professor Geraldo da Silva Pinto and works at the Municipal Department of Education of the Municipality of Alto Alegre. Coordinator of the Science Fair of the Municipality of Alto Alegre/RR, founding member and president of the Association of Science, Education and Culture of Roraima - ACEC/RR

Elena Campo Fioretti, Secretary of State for Education and Sports - SEED/RR

Dr. Elena Campo Fioretti – has a degree in Physical and Biological Sciences with a major in Mathematics. Specialist in Research Methodology, Master in Higher Education Science and Economics, Doctor in Education and Doctoral Student in Museology. She is currently a member of the State Council of Culture of Roraima and a member of the Permanent Forum of Science and Technology of Roraima. Technical advisor to the State Education System of Roraima, she works in the area of Education, with an emphasis on teacher training and develops studies and research with the themes of Education, scientific education, science fair, museum, regional culture, creative culture.

Aparecida Maria Ramos Simão Flôres, Secretary of State for Education and Sports - SEED/RR

She has a degree in Pedagogy from the State University of Roraima/UERR. Specialization in Special Education, Teaching Mathematics and Physics and Psychopedagogy. Master's in Science Teaching from the State University of Roraima. She is an effective teacher at the State Education Network of Roraima. She has experience in the area of Pedagogical Coordination, School Management, Distance Education and Special Education. She is a member of the Association of Culture, Education and Science of the State of Roraima.
