Synopsis

The book brings the content of the discipline Plant Morphology adapted to Cordel Literature. The plant tissues and plant organs (root, stem, leaf, flower, fruit and seed) are presented in verses of sextilha and septilha accompanied by drawings inspired by woodcuts.

Author Biographies

Rodrigo Leonardo Costa de Oliveira, Roraima State University/UERR

Professor of the Biological Sciences Course and the Graduate Program in Science Teaching at the State University of Roraima. Permanent professor of the Postgraduate Program in Natural Resources at the Federal University of Roraima (PRONAT-UFRR). I have a Master's degree in Botany (UFRPE) and a PhD in Botany (INPA). I work mainly with phytosociology, floristics, ethnoecology, non-formal spaces, teaching resources and string literature for the construction of a Scientific Culture

Willian Alves Cavalcante, Roraima State University/UERR

Master in Agroecology at the State University of Roraima (2020), developing the project entitled: Ornamental Potential of Leguminosae and Savannas of Roraima. Graduated in Biological Sciences? Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Biology of Organisms and Environment, from the Federal University of Roraima - UFRR (2019). Final course work in the field of botany, which resulted in the publication of the book: Illustrated Botanical Guide for Environmental Education at Parque Bosque dos Papagaios, published by Editora da UFRR in e-book format.
