Author Biographies

Huarley Mateus do Vale Monteiro, Roraima State University/UERR

Graduated in Letters from the Federal University of Pará (1999), graduated in Pedagogy from UNINOVE-FAC of São Roque / SP (2013) and majoring in Law. He has a master's degree in Education from the University of Sorocaba-UNISO / SP (2013). He holds a PhD in Literary Studies from the Federal University of Pará (PPGL / UFPA-2019). He belongs to the staff of permanent professors at the State University of Roraima-UERR working in undergraduate courses. He has experience in the area of Letters, with an emphasis on resistance narratives produced in the 20th and 21st centuries. He develops research based on the following themes: narrative of resistance, daily life, educability, memory, frontier, body. He is a researcher at NARRARES-PPGL / UFPA and Leader of the Research Group TEPUY./UERR.

Heitor Patricio Ribeiro do Vale, University Center of Pará/CESUPA

Attorney. Postgraduate student in Social Security Law at the Brazilian School of Law - EBRADI. Bachelor of Laws from the University Center of Pará - CESUPA. Participates in the Research Groups (CNPQ) "Realization of Fundamental Rights and their foundation: approaches from the theory of process, economic analysis and theories of justice" and Decent Work, linked to the Graduate Program in Law at the Centro Universitário do Pará - PPGD/CESUPA. Member of the "Advanced Group of Study and Research in Social Security" of the Academic League of Labor Law and Social Security - LADITS. He has experience in the following areas of legal knowledge: Human Rights, Social Security Law, Labor Law, Administrative Law and Civil Procedural Law.

Isabella Coutinho Costa, State University of Roraima/UERR

Professor of the Letters course and the Professional Master's Degree in Public Security, Human Rights and Citizenship at the State University of Roraima. Graduated in Letters/Literature, and post-graduated in Teaching/Learning of Languages ​​and Literature from the Federal University of Roraima. She has a master's and a doctorate in Linguistics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with an area of ​​concentration in Brazilian Indigenous Languages. She has been working with the Yekwana people for over 10 years, conducting training workshops, advising and collaborating in projects for the development of teaching materials and linguistic documentation. She also conducts research on other Caribbean languages ​​spoken in Roraima, such as Taurepang and Macuxi. His research interests include typology and description of natural languages, research in experimental semantics, first and second language teaching, grammar teaching, first and second language acquisition, production of teaching materials for language teaching and literacy. She is currently Tutor at PET Letters at the State University of Roraima.

Valeria Cristian Soares Ramos da Silva, State University of Pará

Graduated in Letters from the Federal University of Pará - UFPA (1999) with a specialization in Portuguese from the same University (2002). Master in Public Management (2010) and PhD in Language Sciences/Linguistics from the University of Porto/Portugal (2018). She worked as a teacher (with a public examination) at the State Department of Education / SEDUC Pará, in Elementary and High School, with the subjects of Portuguese Language and Literature. During the period she was at SEDUC / PA, she also assumed the role of Director and Vice-Director of a school unit. She taught subjects in the PARFOR teacher training courses and in the Letters Course, in the UAB / UEPA distance modality (2017). She coordinated the Campus de Interiorização-UEPA / São Miguel do Guamá (2006/2008). Currently, she is a Professor at the Universidade do Estado do Pará-UEPA, at the undergraduate degree in Letters and at the Postgraduate Program in Portuguese Language Teaching and its respective Literatures (Professional Master's). Member of the Study Group on Languages ​​and Educational Practices of the Amazon/GELPEA. Member/Collaborator of the Linguistics Center of the University of Porto/CLUP. Professional with experience in the area of ​​Letters, with emphasis on Linguistics and Teaching-Learning of Portuguese Language and in the area of ​​Public Management.

Cristiani Dalia de Mello, State University of Roraima/UERR

She holds a degree in Letters-Portuguese/English from the Federal University of Uberlândia (1986) and a master's degree in Linguistics from the same University (1999) and a PhD in Linguistics and Portuguese Language from UNESP, 2019. She worked as a substitute professor at the Federal University of Uberlândia. She has experience in the field of Linguistics, working mainly on the following subjects: speech, grammar and teaching. She is currently a professor of the Letters Course at the State University of Roraima-UERR.

Maria do Socorro Melo Araújo, State University of Roraima/UERR

Effective professor of the Letters Course at the State University of Roraima (UERR). PhD in Linguistics and Portuguese Language from the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP), Araraquara Campus; Master in Letters from the Federal University of Roraima (UFRR); Specialist in Portuguese Language from the State University of Ceará (UECE) and Graduated in Letters from the State University of Maranhão (UEMA). Experience in teaching Portuguese for Basic Education and teaching in teacher training, especially in the Letters course. Researcher of research groups: Research Group on Brazilian Indigenous Languages, from CNPq (LINBRA/UNESP); Study and Research Group on Borders and Narratives of Resistance from/about Amazonian Societies (TEPUY/UERR); Portuguese as an Additional Language in Roraima (UERR). The Master's and Doctoral studies are dialectological on Indigenous Toponymy of Roraima. He is especially interested in research on the following topics: Sociolinguistics, Lexicology, Dialectology, Onomastics, Language Teaching, Indigenous Education.

Karine de Alcântara Figueiredo, State University of Roraima/UERR

She holds a degree in Letters from the Federal University of Ceará (2001), a Master's in Letters from the Federal University of Ceará (2006) and a PhD in Sciences from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2021). She is a professor at the State University of Roraima (UERR), pedagogical coordinator of the PARFOR language course, since 2015, and is currently the Dean of Teaching and Graduation at the State University of Roraima. She also served as teaching coordinator at the State University of Roraima, from 2016 to 2018, and Director of Graduation, from March 2020 to October 2020. Portuguese language. She develops research in the area of Education (Hospital Class in Brazil, Literature and History-a possible intertextuality).

Iris Anita Fabián Ramírez, State University of Roraima/UERR

Effective professor of the Letters Course at the State University of Roraima (UERR). Master in Education from the State University of Roraima. Specialist in Spanish Language Teaching Methodology (FACINTER/IBPEX); Specialist in Portuguese and Foreign Language Teaching Methodology (UNINTER); Specialist in Human Resources Management (UFRR); Specialist in Administrative Law (Faculty Dom Alberto). He has a degree in Literature (UFRR), Pedagogy (Roraimense College of Higher Education) and a Bachelor's degree in Administration and Law (Cathedral Colleges).
