Synopsis
This activity plan offers a varied and engaging approach to teaching vowels to children, using different themes and methods that promote learning and creativity, in alignment with the objectives of the RCNEI. The general objective is to develop the identification and correct pronunciation of vowels, integrating images, sounds, and tactile activities to foster oral skills and value the Macuxi indigenous culture.
The suggested activities include introducing vowels with relevant images and objects, observing and identifying words that start with each vowel, and associating sounds with images to reinforce learning. Interactive games, such as association games and movement activities, are also proposed, along with songs, rhymes, and sensory activities like creating letters with various materials. Lastly, the plan includes art activities, such as drawing and making posters, as well as interactive stories and collages that help solidify the concept of each vowel.
