Synopsis
This activity plan aims to promote the appreciation of the Macuxi people's traditions and ancestral stories, encouraging bilingualism and interculturality, in accordance with the objectives of the National Curriculum Framework for Indigenous Schools (RCNEI). The general objective is to develop observation, interpretation, oral expression, and artistic skills among children, using images from the indigenous community as a learning tool.
The activities include the selection and contextualization of images from the Macuxi cultural context, encouraging children to describe details, answer reflective questions, create stories, and enhance their oral expression through dramatizations. The children will also participate in sensory activities, such as touching and describing textures, as well as observation and memory games. The integration of oral stories, traditions, and traditional Macuxi music complements the learning process, reinforcing respect and appreciation for indigenous culture.
